PRIMARY & JHS

At Upper Primary, pupils are taught by subject specialists across all subjects. In addition to Core and Elective subjects, Pupils are as still taught Creative Art, Music and Physical education. At this stage of their education, pupils are beginning to get inducted as independent learners with an understanding of their own emotional development. There is also a focus on e-Learning and the use of new technologies as a teaching and learning tool.

There is continuation of the extracurricular (club) activities with new choices added to reflect their growing maturity.

Many efforts are made here to make the pupils’ transition from the Main school site to the Annex; (where they become the youngest pupils after being the oldest at the main school) as easy as possible.

With focus on the individuality of pupils/students, lessons are designed to meet the needs of every learner in the classroom, with formative assessment strategies to support continuous learning.

Crown Prince Academy also believes that technology is the driving force behind many of the world’s changes and innovations, hence the recent introduction of e-learning culture in order to step away from traditional teaching.

Currently, the school runs the Ghana Education Service Curriculum, but intends to expand onto the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme in the near future.

Our co-curricular activities give opportunity to learners to develop their individual skills and exhibit them. As future world leaders, we encourage them to broaden their knowledge on matters that affect their general development, and wellbeing through co-curricular activities.
